Dear Parent, (s) Greetings! Let's glance through the month of ‘Awesome August’ ‘Growth is the only evidence of life.’ Without continuous growth and progress, words such as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning. Liberty, when it begins to take root, is a plant of rapid growth. Now, when the children have taken the wings to fly, we don’t want them to stop; instead see them blossom through our theme ‘Growth’. Children were made aware of the basic etiquettes of how to behave at a party. Storytelling ‘When children are old enough to talk, they’re old enough to tell a story.’ As children become more comfortable with storytelling, it’s fun to introduce more structured storytelling activities and games. ‘Pass it On' was the first story narrated this month which taught the importance of responsibility and differentiating between right and wrong to the children. It gave the message to spread good things around so that we can make the world a better place to live in. This was followed by an activity in which children drew things which are good to share (smile, moments of joy, stationery objects etc.). In the third week, a story named ‘What the Ladybird heard’ was narrated to the children in order to acquaint them with different sounds of animals and their homes. In the fourth week the second part of the story was narrated as a recap of the concept taught in the previous weeks. Drama Role Play activities help to develop empathy in the children. They also help to develop the expression, control of feelings, motivate undiscovered feelings, and sometimes help in discharging negative feelings. A ‘Role Play’ on the topic– ‘My Good Friends’ was done to help the students learn skills used in real-world situations. .Events and Celebrations 15th August 2021 Independence Day: “Freedom is never dear at any price.
