This helped the children revise the sounds of the letters, enhance their imagination, stimulate curiosity and develop early literacy skills. A few sight words were recapitulated and new sight words were introduced to the children which helped them read short sentences. Children also recapitulated all the letters by reiterating upon the sounds through jolly phonic song. They were asked to write Aa-Zz in their notebooks. Teaching our children, how to celebrate and love others in special ways is a lifelong skill that we can begin to develop in the early years. Keeping up the spirit, the birthdays of Kindergarten children born in October were virtually celebrated on 31st October 2022. The theme for the celebration was ‘Celebrations’. All students dressed up according to the theme and also carried an object or a picture related to it. They spoke a few lines on the same. As a part of the theme ‘Celebration’, a story about the most popular and the most talked about festival ‘Deepawali’ was narrated to the children which they enjoyed very much.
